Honest Review Of The Guru Slayer
Ok so by now you must have been flooded by emails promoting
“The Guru Slayer”. If you haven’t already, then you will
in the next few days.
I grabbed a copy of it last night since I was skeptical about
this new product. I didn’t like the whole “Killer” attitude
that surrounded it so I thought I’d see what it was about.
Here’s my HONEST review of it.

Chapter 1 - Why People Fail Online

There really wasnt much here except an introduction of why people
keep failing online. Not much information here but yet it’s a good
eye opener since you need to know WHY you fail in the first place
before you can correct it.
Chapter 2 - Catching the Buzz

The methods shown here are very good and very effective. I was impressed.
You learn how to market products that people are interested in and
NOT what YOU feel like selling. This is a very good lesson. It easy to
follow all the gurus and promote what they are promoting but to be
successful you need to be ahead of them and learn how to keep abreast of
the new launches, new trends etc so that you can promote them BEFORE
the gurus. This chapter shows you exactly how to do that.
Andrew also shows you exactly HOW he “spies” on the market too!
Chapter 3 - Using Guru Slayer Tactics to Get Resale Rights

I didn’t like this chapter as much as the others simply because this
chapter was similar to the ebook “Dominating ClickBank” ( which I own
a copy). But, if you are not familiar with these tactics, or don’t own
Dominating Clickbank, you’ll really enjoy this chapter.
Chapter 4 - List Building Techniques

All the chapters so far were nothing groundbreaking or life changing.
Chapter 4 is the longest chapter in the entire ebook, and I think
it was what made it worth the cost. This chapter was very informative.
It covers strategies for
* Building an opt-in list ( email list )
* How to effectively use an auto-responder, and the art of promoting
products to your list, while nurturing a relationship with your customers.
Andrew has some pretty crazy and effective tactics for getting huge
opt-in rates, which is where the majority of the big money is made.
(Remember, the money is in the list)
Chapter 5 - Setting Up Your Download Page

Many marketers THINK they know how to do this.
Only a few KNOW how to do it right. Andrew shows you exactly
how to do this and better yet - How to do it effectively.
He explains and shows you how to funnel traffic into your sales
funnel so that you can grab the names and email addresses of your
prospects and customers and thus build your lists.
Funny how even the mosts experienced marketers fail to optimize
their websites to get customers to come back to them.
This is definitely something you should look into and Andrew
does a good job showing you how.
Chapter 6 - 11 - Brief Summary

I’ll just give you a breif of chapters 6 - 11.
These are strategies that both affiliates and product
vendors/publishers MUST implement in order to increase both
profits and exposure.
If you are an affiliate who just wants to make money promoting
productst using Adwords and Clickbank, this guide may not be for you.
The rest of The Guru Slayer goes into more advanced techniques
and tactics like:
* How to set up your member’s area. Andrew shows how to get customers
to become active affiliates by providing essential
training and promotional tools.
* How to get traffic to your site free or cheap, and how to find
affiliates and JV partners that can drive traffic to your sites
for free.
* Get your product sites in the search engines by properly training

* Brand and relationship building and how quality over quantity
can generates thousands in sales
* How to effectively promote a product to your subscriber list and
almost guarantee the sale.

There is a lot of material covered in The Guru Slayer.
Honestly, each of the chapters alone could have well been
and ebook by itself because they had enough content in them
to hold it’s own.
Newbie affiliate marketers often need to be told HOW to promote,
and not just WHAT to promote or WHERE to promote.
Once I had finished reading the ebook, my attitude had
changed from being a skeptical to accepting that
The Guru Slayer was a DECENT product. It’s definitely worth
the price if you want to take your Internet Business
into profits by kicking it up a notch.
Andrew, though quite young, is a very successful and
experienced Internet marketer.
He does know what he’s doing.
So why did I think it was DECENT ebook and not a GREAT one?
Well, you wanted my honest opinion right?
The Guru Slayer is not a bad product.
I think it would have been a GREAT product if the whole
“mystery” that surrounded it all over the internet wasn’t there.
The perception of a truly shocking revelation was associated with it
and honestly it wasn’t like that. If not for that “buzz” I think it
would have been a great product.
But that’s just me.
I didn’t find it “shocking”, nor did I find a hint of
controversy in it, but I did find it VERY informative and
a worthwhile marketing resource for any online marketer.
Do I think it will turn Internet marketing on its head?
No, unfortunately it won’t. The methods in The Guru Slayer,
while highly effective marketing strategies, are strategies
needed for an effective sales process.
These are tactics that can be used for both affiliates
and product vendors.
They are not “competition killers” or “market dominators”
as you might have been lead to believe.
And as of this writing, The Guru Slayer also includes VERY NICE
fast-action bonuses worth getting your hands on.
